A rare piece!
This is an original Romanian manufacture, military, AIM-74 bolt carrier.
These carriers are new manufactured and never installed on a rifle, they are coated with heavy oil and sat in storage at the factory.
These bolt carriers are original and are machined to work with the AIM-74 5.45x39 bolt (it uses a narrower bolt body than 7.62 versions).
These carriers also have a lightening cut on the left side and have the trip for use with the 3 round burst fire control group.
The charging handle is also unique to the AIM-74, and curves upward to allow room for the folding stock, and easier use with the left hand.
These AIM-74 bolt carriers will not work with 7.62 AKMs or AK-47s.
