These VETERAN tripods are all fitted with the scope mounting base, and are the standard Yugoslavian "apple" green color.
These are original Yugoslavian made M53 tripods as used during the Balkan Wars.
The WWII German designed M53/MG 42/MG 3 series machine guns are currently used in military service around the world.
This tripod has features of the German design, such as the spare bolt box, elevation & traverse controls and the way it folds up for carry on the battlefield.
The mount is a very clever design and has a feature where the recoil of the gun can increment elevation changes, if desired.

These tripods show extensive service use and will have chipped paint, scrapes, small dings, grease, dirt, ripped canvas padding, no straps, stiff legs, and the top data plate removed!

We have slings, cleaning kits, ammunition cans, basket magazines, starter tabs, belt loaders and belts for the MG 42/M53 series firearms.
