M53 Tripod w/Scope Base, Yugoslavian, Green *Good*

Original issue tripod for the Yugoslavian M53 SARAC belt fed Machine Gun, with scope mounting base, in *Good* condition.

Sold individually (as pictured, firearm NOT included).
These tripods are all fitted with the scope mounting base, and are the standard Yugoslavian "apple" green.
These are original Yugoslavian made M53 tripods as used during the Balkan Wars.
The WWII German designed M53/MG 42/MG 3 series machine guns are currently used in military service around the world.
This tripod has features of the German design, such as the spare bolt box, and the way it folds up for carry on the battlefield.
The mount is a very clever design and has a feature where the recoil of the gun can increment elevation changes, if desired.
These tripods show signs of service use and will have scrapes in the paint, dings, and plenty of grease!
