Yugoslavian ZASTAVA M72B (RPK) Parts Kit, Milled Receiver, 7.62X39 *Good* w/Light Rust

Original Yugoslavian Zastava M72B (RPK) parts kit, with mounted bipod, torch cut demil barrel and receiver, 7.62X39 used in *Good* condition.

Sold as a parts kit (as pictured).

These M72B kits are made using MILLED receivers.
All kits have been torch cut, with the barrel pieces and front and rear receiver pieces included.
These demilled parts kits are reclaimed from Yugoslavian Army milled receiver M72Bs.
Condition of these kits is *Good*, with rust on bipods, top covers or bolt carriers.
The M72B uses a pressed & pinned barrel, same as used with the M72B1 stamped receiver RPK.
These kits will NOT have matching serial numbers.
These RPKs were NOT made with the button at the rear of the receiver to lock the recoil spring and topcover, as found on the grenade launching guns.
The topcover may still have the clearance cuts for that button.
These kits are VERY limited and NOT COMMON!
Due to our limited stock, kit may OR may not include the cleaning rod.

KITS WILL BE VERY STICKY DUE TO PROTECTIVE GREASE. BE PREPARED TO PUT SOME LOVE INTO THIS ONE!!!

The Zastava M72 is a light machine gun developed and manufactured by the then Yugoslav Zastava Arms Company.
Generally, the M72 is almost a direct copy of the Soviet RPK light machine gun, the only visual differences being in barrel, wooden stock, no side rail mount and slightly in design of the wooden handguard.

The Zastava M72 chambers and fires the 7.62x39mm M43 round. It is a gas-operated, air-cooled, drum-fed firearm with a fixed stock.

This weapon is a near copy of the Soviet RPK light machine gun. There are a few differences on the M72/M72A.
It does not have a scope side rail mount, the butt is also different, having the shape of a regular AK-47 rifle.
It has a reinforced receiver, night sights and no carrying handle.
The barrel also differs from other RPK rifles because of the cooling fins to help with heat dissipation from prolonged fire.
The M72 only appears with a heavy profile barrel as opposed to Russian and Romanian RPK rifles that can come in both light or heavy barrel configurations.
