Tripod for PKM Machine gun, 1976 Marked, Russian *Good*

Original Russian tripod for the PKM Machine gun, *Good* Condition

Sold individually (Tripod pictured is the one you will receive).

Shown is a PKM tripod with the T&E mechanisim, which will be missing locking lever. 
This tripod has seen heavy use and can has rough finish and a little pitting. 
The T&E parts are included separately and will need to be installed (See PICTURES)

This tripod was invented by the Russian weapons designer Leonid Stepanov.
The Stepanov mount can easily be described as a "light" tripod.
Made almost entirely from steel stampings, it weighs only 11 Lbs.
Each tripod leg can be folded for transport or adjusted for proper height.
When folded for transport, the tripod can be easily carried by one person.
The Stepanov tripod mount ensures the stability of the PKM machine gun.
It also increases the accuracy of shots at maximum ranges.
The Stepanov tripod can be easily configured from a ground mount to an AA-configuration.
Any locking handles present will be stiff and may be bent/broken or missing.
