This rare WWII tripod is a great addition to your collection!
These were a limited production / limited issue BREN mount for Airborne troops.
Intended for use on D-Day these were dropped into combat at Arnhem.
This tripod is an original Bren MK2/1 folding tripod, with the hinged frame and traverse slide.
Includes pintle and elevation and traversing mechanism.
Show's heavy signs of use, marring, scratches, paint wear/repaint, surface rust, etc...
