Maxim MG Spare Lock Holster, For Russian Sokolov Mount, no lid, galzanized steel, painted green in *Good* condition.

This is an original holder / holster for a spare Maxim lock assembly.
Lid and 2 short clamp bolts are gone, but the wood inserts are still in place (See pictures).
One side of the holster has a broken seam all the way around, and is held on by the single screw at the bottom.
The metal is in good shape, but the seam needs to be redone to attach that side piece.
Designed to clamp to the side bar of the Sokolov carriage.
Shows signs of wear, marring, grime, etc...
