Colt M16 model 604 Slabside Upper Receiver Assembly, 20" Barrel, black triangle handguard, charging handle, bolt and bolt carrier assembly, early grey finish with Duckbill flash hider, 5.56X45 NATO in *Good* condition.

Own a part of history with this collectible Colt Manufactured upper assembly!
This upper assembly has mixed model parts which happened in service.
Gray anodized 604 slabside upper receiver with numbered rear sight knob and raised arrow directional markings.
Upper has no visible Colt proofs or casting marks.
Shallow counterbore on left side of front pivot pin hole.
Early gray colored charging handle.
20" barrel is marked "C" for chrome chamber, and "MP" for magnetic particle tested.
Moderate wear in the bore with light pitting.
Black polymer triangle type handguards show moderate wear, but have no cracks.
Later style Colt bolt carrier with forward assist serrations.
The bolt carrier has no "C" markings, but has the early style gas key crimps.
Early bend gas tube.
One of the prongs is slightly bent outwards on the "Duckbill" flash hider.
Early forged FSB without the drain hole.
Lower assembly, FCG parts and buttstock are NOT included.

This Upper Assembly includes:
- Vietnam Era M16A1 triangle type handguard assembly with handguard cap and straight barrel nut assembly.
- Early forged type front sight base.
- Fixed rear sight bridge, L-shape sights with windage adjustment. 
- M16 style carry handle upper with dust cover, early bend gas tube.
- 20" barrel with early "duckbill" flash hider.

Parts must be inspected and tested by a qualified and competent gunsmith or armorer before use in a firearm.
