Colt M16 604 Upper Receiver Assembly, 20" Pencil Profile Barrel, 3-prong "Advanced" flash hider, triangle handguards, Colt bolt carrier assembly, 1/12 twist, 5.56X45 NATO, in *Good* condition.

Own a part of history with this early Colt Manufactured upper assembly!
Possible years of production of are between 1964-1965.
Numbered rear sight knob with directional markings on receiver.
The receiver was forged with the forward assist on the side, then machined off (as pictured).
This style receiver was commonly found on the Colt 605 carbines.
Colt forge markings on the front right side of the receiver.
Early cast front sight base and "L" rear sight.
Pencil profile barrel is marked "M" and "VP" a the front sight base.
"1/12" marked near the muzzle, for 1/12 twist.
The bore is in Good condition with moderate wear.
Triangle handguards with straight barrel nut assembly.
Some cracks on the bottom side of the handguard.
Dust cover needs some straightening or repair to work properly.
Unmarked colt bolt carrier assembly with forward assist serrations.
Gray finished upper receiver and charging handle.
3-Prong "advanced" flash hider.
Counterbored small hole front pivot pin.
Lower assembly, FCG parts and buttstock are NOT included.

This Upper Assembly includes:
- Early M16 triangle type handguard cap with triangle handguards, and straight barrel nut assembly.
- Forged front sight base with hole and circle sight post.
- L shape rear sight with windage adjustment. 
- M16 A1 style carry handle upper.
- 20" pencil profile barrel with 3-Prong "advanced" flash hider.
- Unmarked bolt carrier with forward assist.
- Early bend gas tube.
