Colt 604 Upper Receiver Assembly 1966-1969, 20" Barrel, 3-prong flash hider, triangle handguards, charging handle, bolt and bolt carrier assembly, early grey finish, 5.56X45 NATO, in *Good* condition.

Own a part of history with this early Colt Manufactured upper assembly!
Possible years of production on this assembly are between 1966 and 1969.
Numbered rear sight dail with raised arrow directional marker on the receiver.
Front sight is square post, no front sling swivel.
Barrel is marked "MP" between the rear sight ears and "C" near the muzzle.
Colt proof marks on the front right side of the early slick side receiver.
The bolt carrier has the forward assist serrations and early gas key crimps.
Bolt is marked for magnetic partical inspection.
Black triangle type handguards has some light damage with a small crack on the bottom left.
Includes original slickside type upper receiver, forged front sight base with the drain hole, and 3-Prong "Improved" flash hider.
Lower assembly, FCG parts and buttstock are NOT included.
Some light pitting in the bore.
Tapered square detent plate on ejection port cover, NO "C" clip on hinge pin.

This Upper Assembly includes:
- Early M16 triangle type handguard assembly with handguard cap and straight barrel nut assembly.
- Forged type front sight base with square sight post and the drain hole.
- Early L shape 2 aperature rear sight with windage adjustment. 
- M16 carry handle upper, with tapered square detent plate on ejection port cover.
- 20" barrel with 3-prong "Improved" type flash hider (NOT the Duckbill).
- Colt bolt carrier assemly with forward assist serrations.
- Early bend gas tube.
