Late Colt Model 604 Upper Receiver Assembly 1970-1973, 20" Barrel, 5.56x45 NATO, inventory number engraved on upper, black triangle handguard with cracks, with A1 flash hider & charging handle, bolt carrier assembly with serrations, in *Fair* condition.

M16 upper receiver with numbered rear sight knob and raised arrow directional markings.
Late 604 "C MP B" (Colt, magnetic particle, proof fired, chrome bore) marked barrel.
These were mated to a slabside receiver with No forward assist or casing deflector.
Possible years of production on this assembly are between 1970 and 1973.
These receiver assemblies have the Colt proof marks on the front right side of the receiver.
Left side of the receiver has inventory control markings / engravings (as pictured).
Chrome lined bore is in *Very Good* condition.
Black polymer triangle type handguards have cracks (as pictured) and are in *Fair* condition.
There is rust pitting on the forward assist type bolt carrier assembly.
Includes proper M16A1 charging handle, forward assist serrated bolt carrier assembly and A1 type flash hider.
Lower assembly, FCG parts and buttstock are NOT included.

This Upper Assembly includes:
- Vietnam Era M16A1 triangle type handguard assembly with handguard cap and straight barrel nut assembly.
- Late forged type front sight base.
- Fixed rear sight with L-shape sights and windage adjustment. 
- M16 style carry handle upper, with dust cover, late bend gas tube.
- 20" barrel with A1 type "Birdcage" flash hider.
- Chrome lined bore.
