Early Colt Model 604 Upper Receiver Assembly 1967-1969, 20" Barrel, 5.56x45 NATO, black triangle handguard with 3-prong flash hider, slickside bolt carrier assembly, in *Good* condition.

Own a part of history with this collectible Colt Manufactured upper assembly!
M-16 upper receiver with numbered rear sight knob and raised arrow directional markings.
Early 604 "MP" (magnetic particle) marked barrel with "C" (chrome bore) marking 1 inch back from muzzle.
These were mated to a slabside receiver with no forward assist or casing deflector.
Possible years of production on this assembly are between 1967 and 1969.
These receiver assemblies have the Colt proof marks on the front right side of the receiver.
This upper has an inventory number engraved on the left side (as pictured).
Chrome lined bore is in *Good* condition.
These were among the first Colt production M16's with the chrome lined bore.
Black polymer triangle type handguards have a small crack in the left side (as pictured).
Includes later M16A1 charging handle, slick side bolt carrier assembly and the later type 3-Prong flash hider.
Lower assembly, FCG parts and buttstock are NOT included.
Front sling swivel is NOT included.

This Upper Assembly includes:
- Vietnam Era M16A1 triangle type handguard assembly with handguard cap and straight barrel nut assembly.
- Early forged type front sight base.
- Fixed rear sight bridge with L-shape sights with windage adjustment. 
- M16 style carry handle upper, with early bend gas tube.
- 20" barrel with 3-Prong flash hider.
