Late Colt Model 603 Upper Receiver Assembly 1972-1974, 20" Barrel, 5.56x45 NATO, black triangle handguard, with A1 flash hider & charging handle, full-auto bolt carrier assembly with serrations, in *Fair* condition.

M-16A1 upper receiver with numbered rear sight knob and raised arrow directional markings.
603 "C MP CHROME BORE" (Colt, Magnetic Particle) marked barrel. 
These were mated to a full fence lower receiver with captive hinge pin.
Possible years of production on this assembly are between 1972 and 1974.
These receiver assemblies have the Colt proof marks on the front right side of the receiver.
Chrome lined bore is dirty and shows wear.
Black polymer triangle type handguards are in *Fair* condition, and may have small cracks.
Includes M16A1 charging handle, forward assist notched type bolt carrier assembly and A1 type flash hider.
Lower assembly, FCG parts and buttstock are NOT included.

This Upper Assembly includes:
- Vietnam Era M16A1 triangle type handguard assembly with handguard cap and straight barrel nut assembly.
- Late forged type front sight base.
- Fixed rear sight bridge, L-shape sights with windage adjustment. 
- M16 style carry handle upper with dust cover, late bend gas tube.
- 20" barrel with A1 type "Birdcage" flash hider.
