Colt M16 601 Upper Receiver Assembly, 20" Barrel, 3-prong "duckbill" flash hider, Triangle Handguards, chromed correct complete slickside bolt carrier assembly, 5.56X45 NATO, in *Very Good* condition.

Early type with non-numbered rear sight knob and no directional markings on receiver.
Early cast front sight base and "L" rear sight.
This unmarked early barrel does not have the chrome-lined chamber or bore.
Colt proof marks on the front right side of the receiver.
Triangle handguards with straight barrel nut assembly.
Original chromed slickside bolt carrier assembly with fat head firing pin and flat head retaining pin.
The gas key has been staked (see pictures).
Early triangular charging handle has early gray finish.
3-prong "duckbill" type flash hider, correct ejection door.
Lower assembly, FCG parts and buttstock are NOT included.

This Upper Assembly includes:
- Early M16 triangle type handguard cap with triangle handguards, and straight barrel nut assembly.
- Early cast type front sight base.
- L shape rear sight with windage adjustment. 
- M16 style carry handle upper, with large square plate ejection port cover.
- 20" barrel with 3-prong "duckbill" type flash hider.
- Chromed bolt carrier with early heavy flat head firing pin, early flat head retaining pin.
- Early bend gas tube.
