Make sure your AK-47 works correctly and avoid all of the frustration!
This rail alignment jig is designed to sandwich the bolt rails at the correct distance and spacing, allowing for easy welds.

For use:

Place the small rectangle plate on the bottom side of the rails.
Align the rails on the sides of the threaded block.
Sandwich the rails in place using the silver block, and slide into the receiver, with the receiver lips touching the silver block.
Place the large block over the top of the receiver and align the holes.
Screw the machine bolt tight from the top into the threaded block, and begin welding!
