German WWII MG-34 Barrel Carrier (Laufschutzer), Steel w/Strap, Green Painted, *Good*

Original WWII spare barrel carrier for the MG 34, steel with green painted finish & canvas shoulder strap, in *Good* condition.
 
Sold individually.

The steel MG 34 barrel carrier came to the USA from the former Yugoslavia.
All appear to have been painted and had the canvas strap replaced while in Balkan service.
Approximately 25 inches long and has internal braces to keep the barrel in place when the lid is latched closed.
Some carriers have markings that are obscured by paint & time, NO selection for markings.
Will fit MG 34 barrel with its locking piece.
These barrel carriers are used in *Good* condition with worn or flaking paint.
Some may have a few small dents or spots of surface rust and canvas straps will need cleaning.
May have the small hold open latch.
