Colt forge markings on the front right side of the receiver.
The receiver was forged with the forward assist on the side, then machined off (as pictured).
This style receiver was commonly found on the Colt 605 carbines.
Complete less the lower receiver.
M16A1 buttstock assembly and pistol grip.
Numbered rear sight dail with raised arrow directional marker on the receiver.
Barrel is "12" marked at the muzzle, for 1/12 twist.
"M" and "VP" markings at the front sight base.
Early style unmarked slickside Colt bolt carrier has early style staking on the chrome gas key.
Bolt is marked for magnetic partical inspection.
Triangle handguards with straight barrel nut.
Triangle handguards have damage on top and bottom, with some of the ears missing (as pictured).
A1 buttstock has DOT markings on the right side.
Early bend gas tube.
Conterboared from pivot pin.
Slabside 603 upper receiver, forged front sight base without the drain hole, and 3-Prong "Improved" flash hider.
Non-chrome lined bore shows heavy wear and pitting.
