Possible years of production on this assembly are between 1967 and 1969.
Complete less the lower receiver.
M16A1 buttstock assembly and pistol grip.
Numbered rear sight dail with raised arrow directional marker on the receiver.
Colt forge markings on front right side of receiver.
Front sight is circle post, with front sling swivel.
Barrel is "MP" marked at the front sight base and "C" marked at the muzzle.
Barrel has chrome chamber (not chrome bore).
Early style unmarked slickside Colt bolt carrier has early style staking on the gas key.
Bolt is marked for magnetic partical inspection.
Later style non-glossy triangle handguards with straight barrel nut.
A1 buttstock has stickers/labels on both sides.
Slabside upper receiver, forged front sight base with the drain hole, and 3-Prong "Improved" flash hider.
Non-chrome lined bore has moderate wear and some pitting.
